Aftermarket intake or factory air box?
The eternal question? Should I, or shouldn't I? The question on intakes seem to be asked almost weekly, on one message board or another.
Please keep in mind that while you are voting on your current setup (not what you want to run), your vote cannot be changed in the future without intervention from the moderator.
Which do you use on your car?
1. aftermarket intake (cold-air intake, short ram, etc.)
2. modified factory air box (resonator removed, velocity stack mod, etc.)
3. unmodified factory air box
EDIT: I myself use the factory air box, unmodified.

Dont do it WW. Its so not worth the money. AFAIK a short ram won't cause problems, but is not necessary, cops don't like it and probabaly isn't useful until you're making gobs of power.

Thanks, Jason and Eric. The only intake mod I would even consider doing in the near future is Eric's velocity stack mod. Didn't mean to alarm anyone.

I thought it would be nice to be able to point to a poll of how many people have a factory intake and how many don't whenever the question comes up. I've read (I think) all of the threads on both message boards on intakes and it seems that we are constantly repeating ourselves, both pro and con aftermarket intakes. I wanted to see some numbers and percentages for a change.
