Cool, I should be there tomorrow. 7:21 is when I'm out of work. Takes me about 5 minutes to drive home, get myself clean and dressed is another 15 minutes, then I'm off. So estimated time of arrival is 8:11 PM. I know the math doesn't add up.

Yea, my sister-n-law and a few other ppl are organizing it....they are all hot rodders...so thats probably why you havent heard much about it. Although there will also be a custom truck club attending and probably a few others as well. They are not advertising it...just some homemade fliers, and word of mouth, but that travels fast. I am gonna post up a picture of the actual flier either tonight or tomorrow, and if anyone wants a real flier, I can make copies and hand 'em out to those that want 'em

Sweet, it was nice to meet you all out at Eggettes too! kinda a long drive, but hey, I have been known to hop in the car and go for a drive every now and then....I made it out to ConcordKK once also, thats a pretty good meet, I think they are doing it once a month or so.

You guys should definitely come out atleast once to represent the northbay crowd! :D If not to a meet, try and make it out to the Show-n-shine get together on 10/18. I am hoping to get atleast 20-30 ppl out there to represent the Subaru tuner community, and maybe educate some of the "old guys" (Hot Rodders) on some of the new technologies that are out there in the automotive world. Plus its gonna be a great time with all the other car clubs and beautiful cars/trucks that will be out there! But like I said b4 get there EARLY so we can all park together!

i've only been to a couple of place in Los Gatos for drinks, those being the Black Watch, Double Ds, and the Los Gatos Brewing company. the Black Watch is a pseudo-harley biker bar, and definitely not a place for eye candy in my experience. Double D's is pretty good, and has room for more people.

black watch is the place to get drunk (i.e. $8 kamikaze pitures) before you go head up the street to lg bar and grill for eyecandy. Theres about 5 good bars in lg you should go hopping ;)

Sadly, I am an old bastard and have been to almost every bar in town. Damn, its sad. Here are the bars I know and why/why not to go.

Mountain Charley's
Pros: live music, hot chicks on Fri and Sat
Cons: cover, one bar, always packed after 10:00

Black Watch
Pros: amazing Kami's served in pint glasses
Cons: tiny place, random crowd

Los Gatos Bar & Grill
Pros: pool tables, hot chicks, cool bartenders, big place
Cons: Can be a sausage fest at times, no music

Double D's
Pros: Cool place to watch sports, cool owners, good food
Cons: All the way at the end of town, no parking

Last Call
Pros: serves right up until 2:00 a.m.
Cons: on the other side on Hwy 9, kinda shady

CB Hannigan's
Pros: Cool irish pub, solid food, Guinness on tap
Cons: Hit and miss crowd, can be a "Hey Dude"

Carry Nations
Pros: Can always get a drink, famous Pet Rock invented there
Cons: Slightly older crowd, small place

The bar at Pedro's
Pros: Cool place to start the night and get your drink on
Cons: Take a few shots of Cuervo, eat and move on

The bar at Steamers
Pros: Hot 40 year old rich chicks
Cons: There 40!

The bar at Kuletto's
Pros: Great place to take a date, really nice hotel

Sweet! I am glad you had a good time! Everyone is really cool that goes out to that meet, Plus we dont really have to worry about anyone (store owners) getting pissed off....they like us to hang out there and actually encourage it....so as long as we are respectful (no racing in the parkinglot or around the immediate area) we should not have any problems at that location.

Too bad you didnt make it out last saturday to the show n shine that was there at BDG....you should check out the pics ppl posted....I have been really lazy and have not posted my pics yet....one of these days I will get around to it.

i have to admit that i took a good long look at it when i was at stage, and it looks killer. the full cage makes it look really mean. Robert told me about the plans for the NOS purge, and it sounds evil :) hopefully they'll get it done in time.

It should be pretty sick. Definitely anxious to fill the tanks and see what happens. Hopefully, I will not be in the market for a new motor before Christmas. hahahaha

An Irish Car Bomb is one of the best "shots" on the planet. Tastes like butterscotch, goes down easy and will definitely put you on your arss. There are several ways to make them but most pubs will make the following. . .

Half a pint of Guiness
Shot of Irish whiskey with a floater of bailey's in a two ounce shot glass

Like a saki bomb, you drop the shot glass into the pint of Guiness and pound the pint. Amazing!

Definitely a great drink.

The problem with them is that they taste SOOO good. You can down several of them before the first one hits you. Not pretty!
