Just curious anyone seen them.. The local mazda dealership just got a shipment and they look kinda whack..

They dont look whack. i kinda like how they look like. i saw a truck shipment on them last week when i was driving on 101

 

saw one on the Hwy last tuesday. Looked damn nice, it was silver.

mmmmmmmmmmmmm rx-8 goodness

 

I saw one in the parking lot of spring valley golf course about 2 weeks ago. I think they are ugly. The interior was pretty damn nice though. FD's are still my favorite car by far, they are just perfect.

 

250 horsepower... yay! 139 lb./ft.... booo!

 

naturally aspirated... turbo charge that shiznit and bam blow most anything outta the water instanly (at least anything in my area)

 

i still prefer the RX-7 I'm hoping that the price would drop once the RX-8 comes out. If it does I might get one. Hopefully a 1995.

 

Car and Driver came out with an article on the RX-8 a few months back. They had a picture a beautiful RX-8 with a body kit from Mazdaspeed. Stock it looks aight but with a body kit those things look awesome.

 

swap an rx-8 engine into a rx-7 body... then turbo charge it... sick looking car with mad fast engine!

 

I think these cars will look better in person

As far as performance one guy dynod his 247 hp rx8 and at the wheels it was putting out less than 174hp

There was an earlier dyno test I believe for another 247hp car and it came out as 177whp. Cant find anything on that because it is said Mazda did not what the information made public.

I would wait before buying one of those to get a larger group result... that is if I was interested.

I agree!! And if it is true these cars are only putting out 174whp then mazda really fell off in the sports car catagorey....
