WRX whiteline springs

I have a 2002 Impreza RS and I was wondering if the Whiteline springs for the WRX for 2002 will fit my car just as easily?

Yes they are the same. The drops are 1.25 in. for the Control and 1.75 in. for the Flatout (the most I would do with a stock strut although I would still go with a good Aftermarket unit). I would also recommend the adjustable rear swaybar and possibly the Anti-Lift Kit. These components in association with a performance alignment will make your car handle like a banshee (with good tires).

The Whiteline springs will fit the RS as well. However, the RS has softer springs and strut damping than the WRX, so the effective change is going to be greater than on a WRX. It's possible that Whiteline Control springs would cause "bouncing" by overpowering the struts on some bumps and dips. If this does happen, they will quickly wear out the struts. However, they may or may not be the case. Either way, I would recommend getting a sport strut like the SPTs or KYB AGX that were just released for the GD. The only major difference between a WRX and RS handling wise are spring and strut rates, so once you replace those, you are on even footing with a WRX with similar mods. The ALK is also a good mod for improving handling, along with a RSB and most importantly, better tires.
