Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

I can't speak for a Cobb but I've installed and later removed an Injen intake from a local guy's WRX. I didn't like it because it was a PITA to install, it sat too low for my liking in the fender and to clean (heck even look at) the filter you have to pull down the wheel liner.

He went to keeping out the silencer and putting a K&N panel filter in the stock box. Another thing on the Injen, the rubber mount that holds it to the fender broke pretty early on.

I like the idea of a cobb better but since I haven't used or installed one I cant' comment

I agree with Peaty's assessment of the Injen. I don't bash or promote individual companies- either their products are good or they aren't. If you have the money, I'd wholeheartedly say get the Cobb. Otherwise, get the PDM intake for $55. It's 80-90% of the Cobb's performance for about 1/3 of the cost (when you include the cost of a high-flow drop-in filter).

I have a Cobb intake and heartily recommend it. Injen does make a good intake and I'd think the performance difference would be negligible. However, as Peaty pointed out the Injen is harder to install and maintain. Plus you have the added problem of possible water injestion. I'd go with the Cobb personally (and did obviously).
