So my good friend and I went out last night to try and capture some of his fire poi. Here's what I got. This was the first time I shot anything like this and I had no external light other than his pois. C&C most appreciated.









I tried to get both short and long exposures. The short exposures to have more detail and focus on my friend, and the long exposures for patterns and more focus on the pois.

Here's a PS my friend did on his own. really drives the point home haha.

 

Very nice. That quote in the last pic is very fitting with that music clef shaped fire in the middle. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
