Cool man, good luck with that. I do all my work up at Nice Car at Riverside and Mountain. I'm going down to the Pikes Peak race and Subby meet on June 27th and 28th with some racer friends, if you want to go let me know.

I have seen the green Impreza, I actually met you a while back at a luau party a year ago...Really diggin' the car. I drive the black 2.5RS that use to have Team Evolution on the windshield.
By the way, I go to CSU , but in Aurora for the summer-working and trying to hook up the car a little more.
Brian, What kind of turbo did u get and how you likin' it? Have u run it on the 1/4 mi yet? Also, where'd you get your rear spoiler? How much? If you're looking for more body mods go to Subaruwrxparts.com-they have a lot of stuff. Also, Asylum in Westminister has some nice deals. Just in case you didn't know. Stay up man. PEACE

Regg,
Good to hear from you man. I actually got the spoiler from Joe of JCSPORTS back before they went out of business, but you can find similar ones all over the internet, they're about $500-$600. I pieced together my turbo kit from mostly WRX and LEgacy turbo parts in hopes of saving some money. Didn't work. The best way to go is a pre-made turbo kit. I learned a lot, though. I'm porting my turbo in the next few days, and I'll be upgrading to a mitsu 16G turbo wheel in a few weeks. That should get me into the low 14's at Bandimere, at about 290hp. After the summer is over, I plan on building a monster 2.2 low compression engine and reworking all of the fuel and ECU systems. Then we're talking some 10-11 sec. 1/4 times and over 450hp. YEAH BABY! Let me know if you have any Subby questions, either I'll know or I'll be able to find out. Later

Is there a semi-formal local impreza club around here? I'm surprised at the Colorado chapter of the DSM club, still hanging out together with our dilapidating cars... including my car which I still indend to fix... some day...

Not nearly the size of DSM, but I've stopped more than once to chat with a fellow subbyer

anyone change their up-pipe by themselves and could give some feedback as to how hard it is, is it a straight bolt-on, and any issues?

coming from the dsm world, this boost lag really is starting to get to me!

Right on, 'thehumandecoder', I go to CSU myself-welcome to CSU. I'm down to start a club, man. And, SUDN RUSH I am going to be @ Bandimere Sunday, I may even run the track-you know, just to see how my car does.

I hope not to hijack the thread, but I am considering a job in FC, which means a big move for me and my family from Calgary. What's life like in FC, what are the best and worst things? How's the Scooby scene?

el rayo-x,

I am a little further south in Boulder but I know Northern Colorado pretty well. Some of the best parties I have ever been to were at the by-gone College Days at CSU...

Fort Collins has a large Subaru population.
The cost of housing is a little high (although not as high as it is here in Boulder).
It is a nice place to live with a healthy mix of culture, restaurants, outdoor activities, pleasant neighborhoods, and good schools.

I like a little bigger city environment but I guess to each his own.

I'll be headin out to FoCo on the 18th to go back to school. I do remember your Green impreza brian, that thing is tight. I drive a blue RS coupe, usually was around allison hall last year. I'll be up in Rams Village this year, boo yah

Rob, I know exactly what your car is. I had the BD150 course in Allison Hall and use to see it (if I'm not mistaken) whenever I'd go to class. I drive a black RS coupe (not the one with 18s on it that I've seen in FC). I live 2 minutes from Rams-just past Taft hill and Elizabeth intersection. Take it easy bro. PEACE

Cool, thanks for the props fellas. My ride's in the shop (big surprise there  ), but should be running better than ever after the WRX tranny's all set. Wish I could have gone 6mt, but too much $$. It'd be cool to get together some time at Nice Car up on Riverside and Mountain. You guys could meet the techs, Angelo and John, always a good thing for getting work done cheaper. Post if you're interested, I'll set it up. See ya guys lata-

Brian,

I'm interested...I'll hopefully be putting some small mods on my ride throughout the next few months. Within the next week I should have my perrin pulley installed as well as an STi front lip on. Small mods, but I'm saving to be sure I can have enough $ to live comfortably with this year. That's awesome that you're getting a WRX tranny. PEACE

Wow, lots of newbs in Ft. Fun :p

Don't have my Subie anymore, but I'm still addicted to what is now NASIOC (I think that's a bad word around here). I miss the good ol' days of i-club.

I moved from Virginia to Ft. Collins around the end of June. I'm working on my Master's in Electrical Engineering at CSU. I'm pretty sure I'm the only car in town with Virginia tags... but if you need a little more to go on, I drive a blue 2002 WRX sedan with gunmetal wheels and a 22B(ish) spoiler. ;)

See you around town!

I'm down, man
City park would be better since we could all just meet in a parking lot-not have to find anyone in a restaurant or anything.

Meets need to be alot better organized. I haven't really seen a Fort Collins meet work out.
