Yes we need to get the website updated, we hoped to have the host hotel arranged by now, but Hot August Nights pretty well forced us out of Reno and Sparks- so now we are trying to line up enough rooms in Fernley and Fallon, farther from here but closer to the stages.

i ended up getting my room in fernley for $70 a nite using my government discount...

boy, i didnt know that the HOT AUGUST NIGHT would just jack up everything EVERYWHERE...

Pete - The host hotel shows as full those nights, do you have them all blocked or something? I was trying to book rooms for myself and the victim I have coming with me to help :)

You might try calling and asking about the rally but I wouldn't be surprised to find them full already.

I still plan to spend the day Saturday out tooling around looking for more Rally roads in Northern Nevada.
If anyone else would like to join me, I figure we can meet up in Fernley at the Starbucks say 9:30 or so and head out from there.

I'd love to join you Pete, but I will be making sure mommy-to-be is as happy as can be this weekend. After bailing for 6 days to go to Rally Finland, I have to give her my complete and utter attention this weekend. We'll be headed to Tahoe Friday night and will be up there all weekend. Probably head down to Reno Saturday night to check out Hot August Nights. Give me a call if you're in the Truckee area though.
