i am this >< close to pulling the trigger on an 09 wrx. i was wondering if anyone knew where to get or download the service manual for the 09 wrx? thanks!

 

Subaru service manuals (several volumes for each vehicle), downloadable as PDF files after purchasing an online subscription. This is copyrighted material and as such may not be sold by any other party unless authorized by Subaru of America.

Subaru of America does list manuals for the 2009 model year Impreza WRX under Reference Publications. Do not download materials under Diagnostics Service Information - these are of use mainly for service technicians.

The FAQ page linked from the page I've linked above has a toll-free number to order hard copies of the service manuals but when I purchased a set for my 2002 model year, the multiple volumes were just under $250 at a discounted price through www.Subaruparts.com, so buying a subscription and downloading the PDF manuals are a much more cost effective solution.

 

thanks for the info. i like having hard copies of things. i will probably get it from subaruparts.com i think you also answered my next question which was going to be "where is the best place to get oem subaru parts from?" i come from an acura integra and used to get all my oem parts at a discount from acuraautomotiveparts.net thanks again!!
