i need help to choose a camera. rebel xsi or d80?

i'm in a dilemma, i don't know which camera to buy. should i buy a canon rebel xsi(450d) with 18-55mm lens or should i buy nikon d80 with 28-80mm lens? the rebel will cost me 450 and the d80 for 440. both will be brand new and come with tripod, bag, sd card, sd card reader, and a cleaning kit. pros and con would be nice. thank you.

damn hella cheap.

the xsi is really small in your hand, i don't like it much (and i have small hands)
the d80 is bigger, feels 'bulkier,' sturdier, imo.

of the 2, id get the d80 body with the cheap nikon 18-55 lens or a tamron or sigma 17/18 to 50/55 2.8 lens
