WTT/FS 1992 Legacy Turbo
My legacy has recently fallen on to hard times. It is now having engine trouble and with me attending college and work I have no time to tinker with it. I'm not going to lie, I have driven it hard here and there, but I always kept up with regular maintenance; changing oil every 2000 to 3000 miles with mobil1 synthetic or royal purple and bosch oil filter, new plugs, new spark plug wires, timing belt, water pump, wheel bearings etc.
Here are the specs:
1992 Legacy Turbo sedan
243,000 miles
Exterior is mediocre, paint is chipping off of wing and it has a few decent dings in the body.
Interior is pretty good, WRX blue/black seat front and rear (passenger side seat is tweaked a little)
STI vr.6 inverted coilovers with Ground Control Sleeves and 450lb front springs 425lb rears. (Rears need new inserts, front have been replaced with low mileage sti units)
wrx front breaks w/ project mu NS pads
Goodridge stainless brake lines on all 4 corners
2.5rs silver 6 spoke rims w/ practically new yokohama's
There are also a few parts on the car right now that I might consider selling separetly.
TD05-16g turbo new seals about 10,000 miles ago. Only ran on wastegate boost (9psi)
2006 wrx tmic with piping & t-bolt clamps
Helix downpipe and turbo back (muffler has a nice dent in it)
Here is the issue:
The engine is misfiring regularly now, not sure why. As I said, I have no time to diagnose the problem really. It had trouble idling before, but last night climbing a grade on the freeway I lost a bit of power suddenly, and now it has a funny noise coming from the passenger side of the engine. Sort of like an exhaust leak of some sort.
Pictures will be up soon, I'm at school right now
I'm open to trades or to sell it as is. I'm also in the market for a lightly modified wrx, so maybe we could work something out?
