I thought I heard people were comparing the new STi to the r32. A good car but a little to pricey so not many people will buy them. In that sense I can see it becoming a collector's item later on, since maybe many people will not buy an 08 Sti so it will become rare later on.

Collectors car, i doubt, there's too many of them. but the resale value is always going to be high because there will always be a demand for them.
