The Autopower will work with the rear seats.

However, I would advise against carrying passengers back there with a roll bar installed - regardless of how much padding you put on.

Some good pics of the Autopower can be found on scoobymods: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...ight=autopower

* fyi - does not work with wagons.

Rollcage or roll bar? What are your requirements and what is the primary use for the car. I would strongly advise against a roll cage on the street. In a collision when you are not wearing a helmet, a cage is a serious liability and can kill you when you head contacts the bar. Further more, to be safe with a cage, this means using a harness, preferably 5 point. However to drive on the street, you must wear a factory seatbelt. This means wearing both. Next, unless you are going to do a serious weld in cage, its not really worth it. Style bolt in cages like Cusco do very little for chassis rigidity or safety due to the design and pipe width.

A bolt in roll bar like an autopower will increase roll over protection as well as serve as a good place to mount a harness. However, it is a hazard for rear passengers and therefor should not really have any.

Not to mention that for street use our cars don't really need them. They pretty much have them built in.

Only reason to put one in IMHO is to meet a safety regulation for some kind of track.

I nearly put one in my wagon but decided against it as it would look cool but take away useful room in the car and put my passengers at risk. Not to mention limit the usefulness of the factory safety equipment....i.e. bags in the seats.

saying that...there are option available. Including custom cages. Cusco. Etc.

I'd just wait until you have the stuff to hit 11's.

lots of other things to spend your money on.

seriously...these cars are stiff and safe enough the way they are. If you start getting serious about tracking your car or running sanctioned drag events...etc..you'll want a weld in custom cage anyways....you'll have to get one.

if you want one with all those specs, its going to be custom made. just hit up your local race shop and ask for a price

Roll bar is usually what is required, not cage. And as one of the others said, wait until you reach that point before you do this. If that is your only goal and you are not getting serious about drag racing, an autopower bolt in is fine, but you still should not have anyone in the rear seat.
