im planning on getting a Espelir JGT500 Catback for my 07 2.5i. ive heard that the flange has to be rotated and was wondering if this can be done by hand or do you need a tool to do this?

Take it to a muffler shop... :p

I am not sure what version exhaust you are going to be using... but I'll use myself as an example.

For a WRX exhaust to fit on my GC, I need the flange rotated, piping extended 4 inches, and exhaust hangers moved.

I am losing low end torque with a 3 inch exhaust on my little 2.2L NA. About 10-15 ft-lbs under stock.

If you are getting the 2.5" exhaust for your 2.5i, I think you will like it. I hear that for NA's, even 2.5" maybe be a little excessive, but I think you will love the sound. I hope that helps.

i was looking at http://www.subydude.com/osc/product_info.php/cPath/220_145_207/products_id/556?osCsid=22b2223f8befe432569308ac9ae5cb3a
this one. when you say 2.5" do you mean the piping on the exhaust?

Yeah. You want MAX 2.5" piping on the exhaust or you'll be losing power. The one that SubyDude has listed there is a 3" catback.
