yesterday I seen a wrb bugeye with a cf hood on kansas right by the bridge.

i always see a silver 07 wrx with tinted windows and some black wheels on hacket (ceres) .... you on here?

and i always end up spoting a 03 white wrx with ver7 rims and no wing its always around morgan and hacket (ceres) haha

u use to see a blue 02 wrx with ver 7 rims but latly its been MIA

I don't think there's quite enough of WRX's/STi's to make an individual forum for it, since I think zumnwrx is right. A lot of the ppl who live in the cen valley branch out to the bay, sac, or down south. On the other hand, I do think the rest of us, should set up a local meet since I think there's plenty of us for that and #'s aren't always the problem.

Blue WRX bugeye works @ Cingular off of Pacific, but I don't know who you are, as I haven't met you lol. But I always chill @ tap so stop by some times if your on here lol

Obviously we are not as large as them and won't be for some time, but there are PLENTY of Subarus in this area. Why on EARTH should Alaska and Puerto Rico get their own thread when we have fifty times their amount of Subarus?
There always has to be a place to start. The central valley is growing rapidly and I demand a way to better organize ourselves into a community just like Sacramento and Bay area are privileged to. We can still go to their meets, participate in their Norcal classifieds and talk in the tech forums but we have to start sometime and somewhere!

LoL, well despite that I did indeed think you were yelling @ me, I had hope that once I saw you were 23, you actually meant to treat it in a more civilized manner haha. But no on a more serious note, after reading your posts in the site sugg. thread, it started becoming evident to me your true goals. Anyways, it's Very nice to see a new person in town ! Despite it being~15 minutes away (since the location that I hang out in stockton, is a little more north of stockton [consider cen stock.... sort of? lol]). But we should definitely meet up sometime, and get some things going. IE local meets, drives, bbq's, etc. even just to go and chill, watch a movie, stuff like that. If we can get the community involved, I believe it'd be a positive output for the site itself as well, since it is the site's members, in their specific regions, that keeps the site alive.

damn thats one thing i dont like much about the turlock meet vibe and im guilty of it also

is that it seems to split up in clicks and groups making it (im sure) akward to the new folks that dont know anyone.

i think we should all work to make sure our social circles stay open and inviting to the new bees...

You guys hit it on the head that it's too cliquish. But that is how it always is until people realize (like we all are realizing now) that every clique actually wishes it was hanging out with the other clique too.
PJ21086, I totally know who you are now. I'm Brian and was hanging out with the two Ryans who had the black and white 06's. (We were the three tall skinny white guys) and the two Ryans are the ones who started the meet. Yah you definitely want to keep your little bro from revving like that as that is what gets the cops called. Either way, though, next time all of us are there we should make a point before hand to meet up in the same area so there won't be any more uncertainty as to who each other is. I'm Brian and will hopefully have my 02 silver bugeyer w/ ugly CF hood there at the next meet.
Zumn, you now have No exuse not to come to the next meet.:joker: Now that it's apparent that the only reason people are cliquish is due to people just flat out not knowing each other I think we can get the meet to be more uniform and fun.

So SpadezWRX (as is his new name) is awesome and he helped me clean off my MAF sensor and get rest of FMIC connected. The car is idling correctly now as opposed to wanting to die! Can't wait for AP now so I can wail on it :eyebrows:

i would say dont spend the money on AP and go open ecu. save yourself 650 dollars :)

example: Dmoneywrx had an 06 w/ pro-tuned stage two set up from gst w/ AP. after i got my stage two set up from XPT tuning i was actually pulling on his car. So shortly after devin sold his AP and loaded up the XPT tune for his car and was pullin on me.

But I get tuned by Ed @ EQtuning and what he prefers is the Accessport to tune off of. Secondly, I literally have no time whatsoever to drive Anywhere to get tuned : ( I work Monday through Saturday every month and I need to be tuned here in the Modesto area. I actually have an Ecutek tune on my car right now but I'm not even driving my car currently because it is setup with VF34/FMIC but on a Stage 1 map. It's been a huge mess in general with this process as I've also been involved in getting screwed over on Ebay. In the end I just need a base map to run off of until I can actually get Ed to come down on a Sunday.
As for the Xtune or whatnot I really don't see how it could be that much quicker than the AP. Everything has to do with the specific tune done on the software and also the mods on each car and the specific conditions and drivers. Either way I can guarantee once Ed is done with mine I'll be faster than any other non-EQ tuned 2.0 VF34 setup out there (evil grin).

It depends what you want. Remeber that Cobb's AP/Tuning is undetectable by the dealership and whoever while XPT and other forms of ecu reflashing is easily detectable.

Sorry bout that Paul lol, my car's been down for about 2 weeks now. :( had bad wheel bearings and axle, so I've been working on it ever since. It's just the rear end, so it's not to bad. Finding the right prices was the hardest part, but I got lucky, since I met an old neighbor of mine who has some of the best sources I've ever seen b4. Great products, and great prices. Anyways, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it'll be driveable by the end of this weekend, but I have a feeling, it won't be up till mid week.

I checked out the turlock meet thread, and the 27th should work for me, so long as my work doesn't interfere. The 20th and 21st are autox days for me, and it'll be the first one in my scuba diving equipment.

Weird thing is I've touge'd more than I've tracked this summer.... Maybe it's b/c it's free ^_^ Neways, if I do end up seeing you on the 27th, would you wanna go on a drive maybe? Not that day, but I mean if I planned one out. I'd get brett and a few of the other guys in stockton 2gether too. But I'm never really fond of enormous groups travelling in new waters. Ya if your warranty is up anyways then there's nothing to lose. But for the newer cars, doing a complete ECU reflash and overwriting the hash codes, vin number, ect. then needing engine work while under warranty you're f'd.

Saw that Maroon WRX again...this time at Claus/Briggsmore by my house. I'm really digging that color.

There is a 06 STI White one in riverbank too, but he sports a FMIC painted BLK. I have only seen him a few times.

Yeah, that's the white one. It's really nice. It looks like he took off his wheels from his RS and put them on his new Sti. I just can't believe he parks it outside every night. I would hate to have to park mine outside!
