POI= points of interest

usually, handheld GPS/NAVIGATION (like my tomtom) can accept new POIs from the user.

in fact, it's rather easy with the TOMTOMs.

with POIs, you can just select it from a list and it will navigate you to the closest one.


so, before i try to re-invent the wheel, i thought i'd ask here first and see if anyone's already created something like this...
