the vinyl was some sort of japanese style waves. it was going the opposite direction, but i was staring at it for a long time. saw a big black hole in its hood, and noticed it was a hoodscoop. no doubt it was a ugly '08 wrx. if you guys spot it, throw some coins at it! jp

local dealership still has none....but I will keep checking their inventory and make sure to go puke on it when it comes in....and then go drool over the STi which I'll always want not matter how ugly (ok, not really no matter how ugly)
saw a few of them, albeit just the regular imprezas on the capitol subaru lot.
sitting next to them was a wrx sedan. sporting dual exhaust on the left and right side.
biggest news? window FRAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its a ugly piece of crap intercooler is the size of a cd case and it has a plastic manifold looks like a Mazda 3 Subaru put more time into the tribeca and i think Subaru has officially stepped out of the scene of racing rally etc.

Hmm, when I played with one recently, they seemed to handle better than the previous generation WRX models.
Wonder how that plays into their hand of stepping out of the rally scene??
BTW, I know for certain there'll be one for everyone to check out at Hammy.
Just ask LIC Motorsports.

I agree with the small POS I/C, but the manifold isn't bad-nice and smooth inside, and nice TB placement for a reverse manifold install. And everything looks identical to the Legacy.
Car runs good, with nice low end torque. I took the SB Grapevine in 5th gear, and even with idiots constantly cutting me off, I never had to downshift!
The new WRX is not as "raw" as the old car. A little larger, a little softer, etc. But the basics are still there, and that's why there's an aftermarket
I know that HKS, Tein, and others have already purchased USDM cars for development, so hopefully things will get going quickly.
