02-03 Springs don't fit 04 WRX/STi
Hi,
I just wanted let people know that were buying parts for 04 models that we were going to some new Prodrive springs on an 04 WRX wagon but the new model spring tapers on the rear and the perch is different. If anyone knows of any manufacture with a listing for the 04 please let me / us know.
Also the rear sway bar bushings and mounts are different as well. The new bushing has lands or a lip to keep from sliding out of the bracket where the old bushing was held in by the bracket wrapping around the edges.
Just thought that I would share some info as I found this out. If I notice any other under carriage changes I'll post about it as well.
Respectfully,
Troy Fankell

I had a reply to my question from Jim G. at Whiteline and they already have the springs and the swaybar updates for the World 03 MY / US 04 MY available. The response time for Whiteline was quick as always. Thanks Jim!!
Jim's response...
"We have some new part numbers for the US 04 (MY03). For springs use:
Control - front 80066 / rear 73194
Flatout - front 83028A / rear 73195
As for swaybars, BSR36 series part numbers are the correct rear ones for the MY03 (GDB sedan) series vehicles. The new part number reflects the bush change while the actual swaybar remains the same."
