I'll be moving up to sacramento on the 15th so I thought I would stop in and say whats up. I got a couple questions for you guys.... I have a blitz nur spec exhaust so my car is petty damn loud, are the cops pretty strict on modified cars up here? and also how are the roads? My car is also kinda stiff, will my teeth get knocked out in a month or are the roads somewhat decent? Hopefully I'll be crusing to some of the meets shortly and I look forward to meeting sme fellow scooby people. Here are a couple pics of my wagon, so say whats up if you see me.

Pictures show up:D

Cops can be tough, just don't be stupid. You'll probably get eyed up a few times, but just keep it cool. The roads are pretty decent too.

Where are you going to be moving to?

:welcome:

Where are you going to be moving to?

Ya. And where are you moving from?

I moved out here from Michigan 9 months ago, and the roads are like glass to me. I used to drive around on roads with 4" deep voids 18" in diameter with 450inlb springs on my Talon. That was rough. These roads are great :D

Watt runs from hwy 50 to i-80, but it's relatively close to i-5.

And up here, sir, freeways are not "the", they are hwy or interstate :monkey:

Also, we say "hella" and "for days", so you will want to start practicing all of that now before you move up here :p

Watt crosses 50 and 80, not 5 that I know of. Are you moving for work?

What part of So Cal are you in right now?

Or by simply just the number. ie: "I'm on 80 headed to Tahoe."

oh yeah, it is off THE 50, sorry I had to. I actually noticed that people up north say freeways in that way, meh I am sure i'll be converted eventually. But I will say that I hope to god that I don't start saying hella. I am moving from Lake Arrowhead, in the san Bernardio mountains. Basically the reason I am moving for a change of pace. I am finishing up school at sac state and am going to be living with my brother. I am just sick of the little town I have lived for my whole life. I am kinda scared because I don't have a job yet. So if anyone knows of any job openings in jus about anything besides the food industry let me know. I have 4 years of retail management experience and I have a tour boat for a couple years. anyways enough rambling for me, I am just so damn excited.:biggrin1:

FYI, the Union 76 station at the intersection of Watt and Marconi has 100 octane unleaded race gas at the pump island. ;)

Welcome to Sac! Outside of us Scooby drivers, no one knows how to drive up here. The cops are pretty cool. Weekends and nights they will eye you up more because of the street racing crack down. Be careful in Citrus Heights. Very strict on speeding. Good luck on the move and be safe.:RockOn - not mine: :RockOn - not mine:
