Question (good) tint shop in Folsom?el Dorado Co. area?

need to get the wife's Accord tinted up cus the baby needs some protection in the back seat.
don't want to have to drive all over the valley just to get it done so i'd like to stay local-ish but the
only shop i know of that is any good is Eclipse in Citrus Heights which is pretty far out of the way.

anyone have any recommendations?

cheaper is always better, but i don't want a half-rate job either.
used to be able to get the back three for $99-150 but it's been a while since i've shopped tint so i don't know if that's still an available price.

BTW nice ESL title, eh? (stupid fast fingers hit enter too quickly )

I'll always say Eclipse, my ceramic tint is dope, but the guy that did the tint job on my wagon back in '01 did a really nice job, too, the tint itself just had faded slightly after about 5 years. It's the guy who works out of the booth next to Hangtown Sounds, check him out. Was pretty cheap for a 5-window on the wagon, IIRC, like $150.

I liked guy near Hangtown Sound too. I remember like $170 for my corolla wagon, but that was 7 windows.

Like Aaron said, great work, but after 5-6 years or so, it has started to get foggy.

we're gonna be rid of the accord in 5-6 years so that shouldn't be an issue.

i'll try and give them a call and set something up.
should i contact HtS? or is he a separate business?

wife's b-day is tomorrow and i'd like to get it done as a surprise for her if i can.

I just walked in and setup an appointment. But back then, I lived about 2 minutes away from there.

If I remember correctly, he only took cash, no credit cards. Just an FYI.

just called at lunch, Makeshift Mike isn't there anymore.
they refer all their tint jobs to Advanced Tint in Diamond Springs.

guy quoted me $145 for both doors and back window...got an appointment there tomorrow.

i'd drive to eclipse but my wife's got the newborn and traveling, waiting 3+ hours for the job to be done and babies don't mix well.
i doubt she wants to spend her B-day waiting at a shop for her car to be done while trying t keep Jr. happy the whole time.

local is easy cus her mom can pick her up and drop her off once it's done.

thanks guys for the advise.
