what wheel/ tire size combo should i get??

i have a 2003 2.5 RS Impreza and i want to get a nice lightweight wheel and tire combo here soon. Ive been looking at the rotas and have a few in mind. What im confused about is the offseti should go with since i ran a 18/7.5''+38 before and had issues. Before i purchase a new of wheels and tire set i need some advice on what would fit comfortably without rubbing or causing stress to any components. Thanks guys....

If you run another wheel that is 7.5" wide with some 225's Id go with a 48 or 50. I'm running a 225/45/17 tire, my car was lowered with some fairly stiff springs, a 22mm RSB and I'm running -2 degrees of camber and I still rub the rear fenders when I'm pushing it very hard. I've upgraded the rear RSB and I'm hoping that will help.

Do you plan on tracking or autoxing the car and is it lowered? If it is lowered, how much and what springs and other suspension mods are you running?

^ as stated above, what suspension are you on???

id say run a 48 offset with 225s, you may even run 235 if you want.

as far as rotas and being light, check out rota P1s:

let me know if you can help you out further

Most of the rotas that subydude sells will be 48 and that should work just fine with a 225. If you do trackdays or auto X you might have some issues in the rear (nothing major) like I do. If I had to do it again I would go for a 50.

Good luck.
