Car Trouble, Calling all Local shops and wannabe Mech's...
I went to work this morning, and I started hearing a quick, gug gug gug gug gug, sound and noticed it came on when I wasn't on the gas (letting the engine slow down or switching between gears). I figured the CV Boot on the left front of my ripped pouring the grease out and the bearings dry and hot ><. I had to drive it home like that, and the sound is pretty loud.
Had a couple of my other friends hear the sound while in the car, and they're guessing its the same thing.
Anyone have a reputable shop close by to have my axle looked at, and maybe just the plastic thing and grease replaced? I'd want to try than rather than the whole axle. I know of people replacing it and not the whole thing, but what do you suby owners think?
Cv Boot and grease, 16 bux...
Axle 300 =\
If you have any information for me, my AIM SN: ILOQIN. If any positive responses could come before mid-day Saturday that would be awesome... cause I want this fixed before Xmas...
Oh, and local I meant, South Sac, 916.
Thanks.

Car Info: This aint a bag. It's a shipment.
crawl under the car and look at the CV boots. If they leaked any grease you will see it sprayed everywhere radialy.
Check for stuff stuck on the tires or wrapped around the axles.

I looked underneath the car, and the CV boots were intact. I tried rocking the wheel, didn't budge. I took my friend's advice and drove in a tight circle both ways and called Paul at Dbtuned (who was there for paperwork only). When I drove counter-clockwise (to the left) I heard a loud clicking sound, which I believe is the wheel barrings. To the right, clockwise, I didn't hear anything.
So after that, I come up with a loud clicking sound doing a tight left circle.

Thanks for giving me a call!
As we discussed, bring your car in on Tuesday & I'll look it over.
Sounds like either the outer CV joint(not likely) or the front wheel bearing(very likely).
