Warranty question?

I have a 04 WRX with only 25K miles and I have a 100K mile
warranty on my car.I would like more power from my car.
Will a Cobb up and down pipe,Cobb catback, and Cobb accessport
void my turbo and ECU warranty? Thanks.

Most likely it will but it always depends on your dealer's Service Dept. And remember that the service manager that tells you it's ok today may not be there tomorrow so get it in writing. Any power mods should void your warranty but many go back to stock if they have issues. This pisses some of us off because you're essentially commiting warranty fraud and the rest of us pay for it when we have legitimate claims/buy new Subarus. I'm not preaching, just telling you a perspective to consider.

Thanks for your comments.
I talked to the guy that sold me my warranty right after I bought
my 04 WRX and he said that I can do catback exhaust,K/N air filter,
and any mods in the SPT catolog. They seemed pretty cool and I
had a great experience.I just would like to hear everyones input.

Im getting ready to find out if my warranty is going to be void soon. I have a cobb AP, cobb dp, blitz exhaust. The turbo is leaking oil and has developed a supercharger woosh sound over the last few weeks. I just found the leak the other day, unfortunately not soon enough to save the turbo. I know the parts that I added are not the cause for the problems, its the copper washers that are somehow not on the banjo bolt that caused the leak and the damage to the turbo is due to insufficent lubrication (from what I have been told and have experienced). I will probibly not deal with the hastle of fighting anything, Im probibly going to just go back to stock and try to get it done that way. I just hope they dont think anything about the bolts being easily removed

Yep, that is the only thing that scares me about modding my car.
You either mod your car or you don't. Because my 04 WRX is my daily
driver I will not be heavily modding my car only bolton's really.
I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with your turbo.
Sounds like you will have to replace the stock turbo and other
odds and ends.If your turbo doesn't get the lubrication it needs
it will be ruined in a matter of time.Yes,put everything back to stock
and try to make it look like it was never touched. Also if your car is leaking
oil from the turbo you shouldn't drive your car and have it towed to the
Subaru Dealership it will look alot better that way.The best of luck to you.

We don't recommend doing anything to 'fool' the Subaru dealership into fixing something related to an installed modification. This is the reason why Subaru Of America has taken such a hard line stance on certain drivetrain repairs. Sometimes even legitimate claims are difficult to resolve because Subaru has paid out a lot more money to compensate dealership service departments for work performed under warranty.

Obviously, each case is different and I am not implying that fraud is about to occur in all cases of returning a car to stock.
