I'll probably go with which ever I get the best deal on for my 06. Typically when going with new stuff the 17's + tires will be cheaper. 18's definately look fresh on a WRX, there's no doubt about that.

17's. Generally lighter, cheaper and less NVH.

I rock 16x7's

BTW, s-tech springs arent the best choice. They slam your ride way too low and will kill your stock struts quick. They are known to provide worse handling. Do some searches here and on nasioc.

I so want these wheels very very very BAD!!! Volk GT-C 18"

<img src="http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Merchant/catalogpics/mk4/volk/gtc-blk.jpg" width="350" height="335">

But it's hard to spend $2,340 on just the wheels alone not including some good tires.

If this code doesn't show the picture then just go to this link:

Do what he ^^^^ said. Search Swift and Pro Drive... if you rock a wagon then SWIFT it is (wagon specific springs available ~ which also cure a sagging butt on a sedan if you have a trunk full of stereo stuff).

I just got some megan racing coilovers on my 05 STi. I have 18" volks. You have to go with a smaller tire so you do not have rubbing issues. i went with a 235/40/18. Seems to work out just fine. I am still trying to adjust the height to where i want it. But they ride great and the 18's look sweet.

this is with 245's i now have 235's but just to give you an idea.

Also with the 245's another shot to give you an idea of 18's

Here is my setup with 18x8 Type C SSR's. Tires are BF Goodrich KDW's 235/35/18.

My vote would have to be for 18's obviously.

I think it makes a huge difference if youve got big breaks or not.

Big brakes - 18"s
Stock brakes- 17"s
