05 WRB STi W/Upgrades $29000 OBO
05 WRB STi W/Upgrades $29000 OBO
Unfortunately some very bad tax news forces me to sell my beloved 2005 Subaru WRX STi in World Rally Blue.
21,000 miles. Always garaged. Excellent condition. Never raced on the road or track; owned by 38 year old professional with clean driving record. Hand washed, clay barred and waxed. Never auto washed or jet washed.
Modified for fun, not competition, as follows:
$2200 Vishnu Stage One (v370) Consisting of Vishnu Reprogrammed ECU Signature Series 3” cat-back exhaust and Signature Series 3-inch Down-Pipe with High-Flow Catalyst (Signature Series is more expensive but supposed to be almost stock sounding - not really, it has a lovely deep rumble). Vishnu claims 0-60mph in 4.0 seconds and standing ¼ mile in 12.4 seconds at 110mph but I’ve not confirmed that. This system has about 4000 miles. I will include the stock exhaust system also.
$2000 18” SSR GT2 wheels with BF Goodrich KDW ultra high performance tires. Wheels are hard to find. I purchased them for winter as they are quite reasonably priced but very light and very strong. They have about 4000 miles on them and are unmarked. Tires are barely worn. I have the original gold BBS wheels in unmarked condition with Bridgestone tires. The tires, at 17,000 miles are close to the end of their life (although that many miles on those tires does demonstrate how easily the car has been driven).
$1000 Racingbrake slotted and drilled rotors (although they are not technically drilled, they are forged with the holes in them so they will not crack). I upgraded to braided lines and low dust pads also. The wheels show the rotors and calipers and they look amazing.
No wing. I didn’t like it, the attention it got and the fact it obscures rear visibility.
$1000 Alpine 9855 head unit with upgraded speakers throughout, amplifier under passenger seat and subwoofer in trunk. This is the top of the line Alpine unit, it includes Ipod interface. The installation was professionally done but it’s not over the top, although the removable subwoofer (with enclosure) takes up more trunk space than I’d like.
$500 3M Invisishield (think clear car bra) professionally installed at 14,000 miles (which is when I bought the car, I am the second owner, first owner was middle-aged couple who traded in for Cadillac).
$200 Pink spings and stock shocks. I tried Tein Flex coilovers and didn't get on with them (too low and too stiff). Now the car sits slightly lower than stock but handles compliantly and beautifully. The photo is with the Tein's, it sits a little higher now.
$200 Cusco rear sway bar, sharpens up turn-in (strangely enough, being at the back).
The car currently has a tow hitch installed as I use the car to tow a caravan (just kidding) – I carry my racing bike on a hitch mounted rack. The hitch can be easily unbolted if not desired. I’ll leave it on otherwise and include the rack.
Kartboy short throw shifter and factory turbo boost gauge.
KBB lists this car in excellent condition without modifications for $23,325 trade in. $26,075 private party and $29,030 retail.
PM for details and more pics.

Bump. Absolutely zero interest. Perhaps the price is too high? Let me know thoughts on an appropriate price (but please don't just ask if the springs are available just yet!)
could you please email me some pictures. lift_it44@yahoo.com
thanks
