Spark plugs for Cobb Stg 2.5
Spark plugs for Cobb Stg 2.5
Getting ready to do the VF34, STI pinks and AP 2.5 map... What spark plugs should I get? I have searched around and noticed many use NGK BKR7E. Is the NGK V-Power's any good? I just need to know what kinda plugs I need.

I order any spark plugs from clubplug.net. They have a flat rate shipping charge of $6.95, so if you ordering larger quantities for yourself or your friends becomes a better deal.
Here is an older thread on the topic of spark plugs which may be useful. I use the NGK Iridium BKR7EIX. The link to the NGK Iridium page is no longer valid in the older thread because their site has changed but they still stock everything currently available. Just use their scroll down menus to locate the type of plug you want.
Copper plugs perform the best because copper has the highest conductivity (lowest electrical resistance) of currently produced spark plug center electrodes but I am not able to change plugs regularly on my car, hence I use longer lasting Iridium plugs at one heat range colder than stock (BKR7EIX). It's best to replace copper plugs regularly (some recommend every 3000 miles) for best performance and fuel economy although you might be able to stretch it out longer if you drive moderately as the Subaru turbo engine ignition system is pretty efficient. If you try to go longer than a year, the copper center electrode and side electrode will probably be pretty rounded off and less efficient.
