Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Want more HP for my 01 2.5, but don't know what else to do.

Want more HP for my 01 2.5, but don't know what else to do.

So far Ive slapped headers, exhaust, and intake on it. Any suggestions on some easy adds?

Thanks Jeff.

Forgot to mention that I also have struts. Lowered 1.8 in the back and 1.6 in the front.

But doesn't adding the AVO turbo-kit make the car die at 30,000 miles or something like that? Why not just get a WRX...

Just wondering,
even slapping on new headers, exhaust, intakes, cams, pulleys , air filters etc . . .
what's the MAXIMUM hp you can gain from such extensive modifications?

I'm talking about NA power, no turbos.
No swaps.
*I know I know, this is a noob question :P*

Wrong answer....GC/GF RS only weighs about 400lbs lighter than any post GC Subaru (2800 vs 3200lbs). Just that makes a 15-20% better Power/Weight ratio(20 if your car's stripped out like mine!!!)Now drop in a WRX motor for the same price as that weak *** Turbo kit and start tuning away!!! Plus who wants that ugly 4 door when you can have the sexy curves of a real Champion (early Gen impreza WRC won 3 years in a row). The new generation with all it's fancy electronic Diffs can't even beat a Citroen??? Why are Evos outhandling STI's on the track and getting better reviews in the mags??? I have more respect for the one's driving GCs than you teeny boppers who are buying up STI's like they're Pokemon cards. But then again the more you guys crash the more spare motors are left for us...Keep buying.

PS: If you can't heel-toe or left-foot-brake, or get nervous when you pull a handbrake then you shouldn't even reply to this. You shouldnt even be driving a Scooby!!!

people like you give subaru a bad name...they arent for the elite, they arent for the "super talented drivers" they are for everyone. this guy wants more power from his RS...well i agree, keep the RS, but swap it with a wrx motor!!!!! and btw evos dont "smoke" stis at the track, agreed GCs are sweet, but GD's are not junk at all
