I have 3 megan racing guages I'm looking to mount in my 06 LGT and was wondering where you guys put yours. The install needs to look as OEM as possibly because I'd hate to ruin the sleek look of the cars interior. I was thinking about taking a piece of carbon fiber and putting the guages where the factory navigation unit would go but i don't think all three would fit. I could definitely get the oil temp and oil pressure guages there and possibly mount the boost guage on the steering column? Lemme know what you think

pics of the gauges for your viewing pleasure...matches the factory cluster perfectly in my opinion :)

Ya, you'll only get two in that nav pocket. I still haven't figured out what to do for my wife's 05 LGT. Keep us posted on what you end up doing.

I've only got one so far, so its mounted on the steering column. I don't plan on any more at this time (probably just get the Defi Link Display) because I can't figure out a good place to mount them either.

For three, maybe have one mounted on the steering column, and two mounted in the cubby hole.

that doesn't look half bad and was one of the options i was debating. It'd be nice if someone made an A-pillar gauge pod but at the same time that could arguably be considered as rice. I will keep you guys posted for sure :)

What you don't see in the photos is that the gauge is held on currently with zip ties. I'm still looking for a more permenant solution, without having to drill into the steering column.

Isn't there an airbag in the a-pillar (my memory is failing me)? I *think* that's why they haven't made any a-pillar pods.

Not exactly. The airbag is in the roof liner near the door, but when the air bag expands, it blows like halfway down the a-pillar. If you had a single pod, near the bottom you'd probably be okay, but anything that takes up that whole a-pillar piece of trim will become a projectile aimed right at your forehead if the bags ever go off.

He corrected me. I meant the single pod that would mount down near the dash not a full pillar one. The airbag would cause you to have a very bad day if there was a ricer pod there. Not to mention that you wrecked your car!
