hello all my fellow Subie owners!!

heres the thing, i bought an 06 impreza I, and i do love it, but why is the RPM limited at 6200 RPM?
I mean come on there is more power there, heck i can feel it, i need to have it... so how do i reset limiter to say 7500 or something reasonable?

Im sure after that i will gbe buying headers and every other part for her i can afford, but think this might be easiest to overcome first.

please give any advice you got imn game for anything, just want to make here closer to a wrx without the WRX name, like the thought of a sleeper

also anyone knows anything about perfoprmance on a 95 gegacy limited feel free to offer advice, cant find crap anywhere for her on google..

it only revs that high because it doesnt make power past that, and the valvetrain cant handle any higher. its gonna be pretty hard to get alot of power out of that engine, because cobb stopped making anything for non turbo imprezas

 

Ah man thats to bad to hear, i love the car, but would love to get little more pull from it, guess you kinda get what you pay for, those extra 4-6 K make the difference
well if you all got any uideas feel free to fire em my way, im cheap but will work hadr to make it a nicer car

 

im pretty sure that most of the mods for 2005 RSs will work, because they have almost the same engine. the intake the injen just came out with will work, the headers for older RSs may work with a little bit of modding, but will have to be used with an aftermarket cat back. UD or lightweight pulley will help a bit too.
