Bay Area subie dealers help

Hello

I recently went to the subaru dealership in Santa Clara, and they wanted 28.5k + fee's. I thought that was a ridcioulous price so I threw them a ridicolous price and said 26k OTD for the sedan and they wanted 27k. I decided to leave and they said they would be ok with 26kOTD for the TR version. I was leaving and one of them decided to cuss at me. LOL.

Now, I need to have an idea of how much a TR would be, and a Regular sedan would be so that next time i have an idea in my head to go by.

Sorry english is my second language.

Sincerely,

Jeff

Can I guess? Stevens Creek Subaru??? Go to Carlsen, do a search for Stevens Creek Subaru, and you might want to PM the one they call The Freak he says things have changed down there. We know better.

Stevens Creek Subaru - Warning

I just bought a 2005 WRX that they had an ad for in the San Jose Mercury News. All 2005s left for 21988. When I got to the delearship they said they didn't have any left with that MSRP....so I paid $400 more for extra options. Well they didn't have the remotes and I went back to the delearship and found the sticker in the glove compartment. Well turns out my car was the same price as the car in the ad...so I got taken for $400. Well I still think I got a decent price but I'm so infuriated that they told me a bold lie, like I wouldn't find out. Within 24 hrs which I have.

They definietly have the best stock, but the worst customer service.

I would avoid Diablo Subaru in Walnut Creek. Quite a few people here have had issues with them. I personally had a sales guy there lie to me about the condition of a used car.

I work in Concord and always took my car out to Carlsen in Redwood City.

Oh and here is the main thread regarding Steven's Creek Subaru

Don't take your car into Diablo Subaru in Walnut Creek to be serviced unless you want your car thrashed. I myself will NEVER take my car in there again. I actually thought their sales dept. was okay but after reading what ish said and talking to other people, it's not that great, either. Ish's thread is a good one on Steven's Creek...here's my experience with Diablo.

I called the sales manager back after I found the invoice and he agreed to refund my money so it worked out...only took 5 total trips to the dealership. yeah I wouldn't go there again.

I got my car from Diablo Subaru for a decent price. Sales people were "ok", not a bad experience but not a wonderful one either.

I have mixed feelings about their service department... they seemed pretty cool. But, I after an oil change (first one was free), I noticed a fat scratch on my rear bumper. I am not 100% sure if this was their fault, because I did not specifically look at my bumper before service.

Best bet, goto Carlsen or Santa Cruz. Haven't heard anything bad about their sales or service department.
