the old soobie needs some maintenance, i needs advice

83,000 miles 02' WRX Wagon

I heard that the timing belt needs to be replaced at 105,000 miles - is this correct?
Should I be doing the accessory belts and water pump at the same time? Cam shaft seals?

How can I tell if my struts are doneski? Occasionally it sounds like a bad fizzunk, like they don't recover when I hit potholes..I remember something about compressing the suspension and watching the rebound? Average mileage for a set of struts?

Oh yeah...and the brakes/rotors need replacement, same with my third set of tires. This should be easy but expensive.

Fawk, this is all gonna be expensive, even doing the repairs myself.

Any other WRX high-mileage (except Pete) owners here have experiences to share on all the stuff that needs to get done as their car gets older?

Thanks,

Steve

Maintenance schedule calls for timing belt replacement at 105,000 miles. Drive belts should have been changed at the 60k service, as mine were (at 57k). Schedule also calls for inspection of the timing belt at 30k, 60k, and 90k miles.

If the suspension is softer or 'floatier' on the freeway than you remember when new, replace all four corners with used low-mileage take-offs or something like adjustable KYB AGXs. My driving consists of mainly freeway commuting but my struts are definitely worn at 58k miles. Still useable, but noticeably softer compared to say 20k miles, especially the fronts which bear most of the weight of the vehicle.
