View Full Version : NOOB question, but i felt like asking anyways (deleting resonator = power gain?) xicema17x 07-13-2005, 01:28 AM i was wondering if deleting the resonator would give power gains. gdogg 07-21-2005, 02:59 AM in the sense of a "butt dyno"... the answer is yes :) however... try reading this thread (http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=737&highlight=intake+silencer+mod) aloha from the summit of *-^-Mauna Kea-^-* xicema17x 07-21-2005, 04:06 AM in the sense of a "butt dyno"... the answer is yes :) however... try reading this thread (http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=737&highlight=intake+silencer+mod) aloha from the summit of *-^-Mauna Kea-^-* Naw man... sorry, i meant the resonater on the exhaust section. Egan 07-21-2005, 06:45 AM Considering a cat-back exhaust gives only marginal power gains (5-10 whp), I doubt just the resonator would do much at all. jlp7t 07-25-2005, 07:54 AM and 5-10 whp for a catback is even pushing it...
