St.L, MO: FS: '02 WRB WRX Wagon, 5-spd, $13,500 neg.
'02 WRB Wagon 5-spd manual, I'm the 2nd owner. It was purchased used w/17K miles in August of '03.
Asking $13,500, I'm willing to talk on price but don't feel like being low-balled.
Factory options:
- 6-disc premium sound system w/subwoofer
- Auto-dimming compass mirror
- Arm rest extension
Car has 53,XXX miles - literally all highway miles from when I bought it. I rarely hit stop-n-go rush-hour traffic b/c of early hours at work. Rarely ever drive it on weekends. Car averages about 24-25mpg. I just got a beater that is replacing it so now the car will be parked in my garage permanently until it's sold, except to drive it for a few miles a week to keep from getting flat-spots and the gas from going bad.
Oil changed every 4500-5K miles w/synth Mobil1 5w (winter) or 10w30 (summer).
Clutch is still strong and should have plenty of life left with proper driving. I changed the trans and diff oil to Redline synthetic at 35K miles. Car has never been to an AutoX or the drag strip, or a track event.
Routine maintenance was done following the Subaru maintenance guide in the owner's manual.
Only problems, mechanically, are I had to have the ECU reflashed by Subaru twice in the first 3 months I owned the car for a misfire CEL, never had it since then. Also, it has 2 recalls for the throttle cable and a driver's seat bolt that I never got done b/c I just haven't had the time or the spare car to drive while mine was worked on.
The body has a few dings and rock chips, nothing that you won't find on any daily driver. The front windshield is cracked but not in line of sight so it should pass safety inspection. Body is in good shape. I wax it 3 times a year, and just claybar'd, using Mother's claybar, and put on 2 coats of Meguiar's NXT wax on Memorial Day, paint is nice and smooth.
As far as mods go, car currently has the following mods:
- Helix up-pipe - installed by Axis
- K&N panel filter - removed
- Samco intercooler Y-hose
- Removed snorkel
- Random Tech catted turbo back - I have passed MO emissions inspection w/this exhaust
- Prodrive axle-back - due to fitment issues with the flanges, I had to have the Prodrive welded to the intermediate pipe essentially making it a one-piece cat-back.
- 20% window tint all-around
- Prodrive springs
- GReddy 52mm boost, oil press, & egt gauges in OEM center gauge pod
- MOMO Subaru-specific shift **** - removed
- debadged the hatch
- OEM painted side skirts - removed
- STi hood scoop - removed
- 225/50-16 Pirelli PZero Nero M+S tires, have plenty of tread left, rotated at every oil change
Click here for pics of car, I'll get some new ones once I get the new hood in place and then again once I get stock parts swapped back on.
Everything else will be for sale once I get it removed but I can't say when that will be so I don't want to start dealing with them yet.
Feel free to email or PM me w/questions.
