Tire w/ a plug on the track?
So here's the situation. I'm getting wheels with re070's on them with some tread left but one tire was plugged quite some time ago (and is doing fine with the plug). I'm going to do a track day at Laguna Seca early in the year, and I was planning on killing off the re070's at that time and then putting on new tires. My concern is that the plug will not hold up under the heat that the track will dish out. Is this something I should be worried about or will the tire be fine?

as far as the plug, it should be ok right? Im not sure. |
the track day is whenever your car is finished, we both have money, and there is a track day

when I got on to my road today I was at about 3.5k or 4k and all the birds on the power lines took off. It was probably because of something else but I like to think I scared them off :) I also rev at turkeys in the road

When you get a tire repaired, it technically negates the speed rating. Beyond that, there's not much more I can say.
