Stretching Tire OEM STI BBS

Could you stretch a tire on a 04+STI? How would it look?
Does anyone have a picture?
Any input would be great.
Thanks.:sign0085:

Simply put, no. A tire would literally not fit on an STi. However, a tire would fit on a wheel.

you could do it, but no real point seeing as the rim is only x7 or x7.5.

Why would you even want to commit such a crime?

Oh so you need a wide enough wheel to stretch the tire, got it.

This thread has the fail.

"Stretch" is done because: hella flush. A fix to a problem that was intentionally created for no reason.

I was just wondering but I didn't know that width was an issue. I was watching a lot of videos on YouTube & therefore posed a question rather than actually doing it

like it was said above stretching is done to fit wider wheels onto the car. IM NOT HATING i do think it looks good in moderation and if it fits your needs for the car. But doing so on an OEM bbs is just dumb. the wheel is too skinny.

Yes, there's definitely a difference between looks good and utterly retarded. I don't dislike the look, but I also know in many cases it serves no other purpose than not rubbing.

Stretching period is a crime against humanity. The entire purpose of fitting wider wheels on a car is to run a wider sized tire.
