RE960as?

Gave my dad the money for RE11's, he came back with RE960AS. Anyone know how these are?

I use those on my winter wheels.. Good allseason tire. Ok performance in the summer, pretty soft sidewalls.

Not as of now because I wouldn't have a replacement bumper, I will let you know if I am though. But the condition is surprisingly good. No scratches except for a few on the bottom when I went up a friends driveway, a few rock chips here and there, nothing clearly noticeable

I run these tires in 225/45/17 on stock BBS wheels (06 STI) and they work fine for an high performance all season tire. Not as good as a dedicated summer tire, but will do great in cold, rain, and even light snow. I ran these tires in the northeast for 4 years in all kinds of weather and had no problems.

I am thinking about getting RE-11 though. They are a great summer tire.

just as everyone has said so far great high performance all season (my favorite of the ones I've tried), but definitely no RE11 in terms of dedicated summer performance... maybe try running the 960s in the winter and get a set of star specs too, they're a lot cheaper than re11s but really sticky? just a thought.
