I think that these are the wheels I want to get. I just can't make up my mind on what color to get. I have a 2003 WRC Blue WRX and I am trying to pick between the Gold and silver. Please let me know what you think.

HongKongBeef 01-23-2003 01:13 PM

the answer is obvious. dunno why there is even need for a poll.. GOLD! (and get me a set too!)

quiksoob2002 01-24-2003 02:38 PM

I think if you bought silver everyone on I-club would want to personally kick your @$$!!

I know it seems that way. I like the gold my self I just did not know because I never see the silver and I thought I would see what everyone thought. I think I will go with the gold.

RSEnigma 01-27-2003 11:10 AM

CAREFUL!

AFTER SPENDING $400 A PIECE MY COUSIN AND I WERE ROLLI'N ON A FRESH SET OR RG'S. WITH IN A WEEK THE RIGNT SIDE BOTH HADE RIPPLED LIPS. THE RIMS ARE GREAT FOR RACE BUT NOT THE STREET. TRY SOME VOLK RACING RIMS. THE FORGED LIP IS A LOT STRONGER

Zoeb2s 01-27-2003 04:51 PM

I personally Am not into the gold look so I would have to say silver

Well that's the not wheel's fault...

RSEnigma 01-27-2003 09:37 PM

yeah the rolled rim normally won't happen unless u live around bad road conditions in which case if u really want them i'd say get used to driving slowly over stuff u never used to.

Well I am planning on getting a set of 17x7.5 and running 225/45 tires. I don't figure I will have to watch it that close like if I was running 35. Even still I am going to go slow over bad roads. DVS WRX, what size tire was he running?

TIRE SIZE

225/40/17 POTENZA SO2, BEING CAREFUL IS ALWAYS A GOOD, WE WERE BEING CAREFUL TOO. THE RIMS LOOK GREAT HANDLE GREAT, LIGHT WEIGHT AND ARE JUST SICK; BUT, JUST LOOK AT YOUR OPTIONS.

RGs are not fully forged. The face is forged, but the lips are not. Get Volks :)

spectra 01-28-2003 10:01 PM

So are all Volk wheels totally forged? If so I guess then I would not have to worry about bending the wheel nearly as much as the Advan RG's? I guess some of the Volk I would look at would be the CE28N and SE37K. Please let me know what you think of these wheels.

1fastGC 01-28-2003 10:50 PM

CE28N is the lightest model you can find in Volks line up.

SE37K is also another great choice.

Either way, they are both head turners :)
