5-Zigen FN01-RC 17x8 +35mm offset which from my research puts the tire closer to the outside of the fender.

Rota Torque 17x8 +48mm offset.

From the offset info thread, for a 8in wide wheel the offset should generally be around +43 to +47. Most of the ~8in wide wheels I have seen are closer to +48.

My question is will the +35mm offset of the 5-Zigen wheels play havoc with the wheel bearings/be too close to the fender? Any help is greatly appreciated.

def an aggressive fitment - and def fender rolling out back

as for wheels bearings, its hard to say....we have lots of customers who had to replace bearings with stock wheels - I think it is more a maintenenace issue than anything else. Obviously the farther out you hang the wheel on the axle, the more you run the risk of wearing them prematurely

i wanna use my SSR 43 mm on the sti but holding it back because of the fitment issues.

43mm is not aggressive on an STi at all IMHO

with 43mm offset of 8 inch wheel or 7.5 inch... will u have rubbing issue? and will the wheel come too far out to hit the fender lip ?
