17x8.0 wheels?

I have a 2001 Impreza 2.5RS coupe . . . does anyone know if I can fit 17x8.0 wheels, say like the Prodrive GC-06D in 17x8.0, 5 hole, P.C.D. 100, 43 offset?
Any help would be appreciated . . . thanks!

Not without some fender work. That's low offset, and a wide rim. Rolling your fenders, or cutting the lips completely off, might not even clear with that setup.......

Depends on tires, I guess, but you'd need to be running a 225, and that's a wide tire for an RS........

Thanks for the info . . . I guess I'll need to do some body work!

I have 215/45R17 Potenza S03s on my RS, with 17x7.5 +48mm offset Gram Lights. I got SEVERE rubbing in the rear, although the 215 S03s are more like 225s in other tires. I wouldn't run 17x8 with less than a 50mm offset, or rolling your fenders might not even be enough to clear your tires. Plus, you run into the possibility of not clearing the strut when you run a large offset. The simple answer is to get 17x7.5" wheels with a proper offset if you haven't bought the 17x8s already.
