Has anyone tried the G-force performance chip?

Heedz 03-05-2013 01:06 PM

MonsterGC 03-05-2013 01:11 PM

hey play nice haha, there is no such thing as a performance chip for your subaru that will do any good and most likely a scam.

Stick with a proper tune from a reputable tuner, with either open source or an accessport.
Then there are stand alone systems that will not pass smog etc.
69.99 to blow your motor is actually cheap!
I will do it for free!!!!

Gancherov 03-05-2013 04:40 PM

Lets put it this way, Subaru sells 10,000+ STIs every year in the USA since 2004. So there are roughly 100,000 factory STI models in the USA. Have you met a single person with this GForce tuning chip?

They are pricks for putting the word "guarantee" all over their site, because it makes you THINK there is no risk. When that $5 piece of crap they charge $70 for blows your motor they MIGHT refund you $70. You still have to pay for the blown motor. Also, MSRP is $399!!! Should be an immediate red flag that it's a scam when the sale price is a fraction of the MSRP.
