Right. I agree with that. With a straight pipe on a sub 300hp car, 2.75" piping may be better for proper exhaust velocity

Yuup done it on wedn. Except i had a 3" glasspack put in to replace the stock resonator. Sounds so deep. Boxer rumbles! Next is a down and up pipe.

Don't do these before getting a tune.

Yes! Thats what i am going to do. Do everything at one time. You prefer a protune or ap? I know the pro tune is cheaper and more power and also tuned just for your car. And ap is a base map. Whats your opinion?

I purchased a Ap then went with Torqued Performance AP maps. I paid Eric, Torqued Performance's Guru, a little extra cash and had him build a tune specifically for my Subaru based off of 6 different Data log sessions including 3rd gear pulls. I was running 22psi safely on ACN91 octane and still was able to drive it daily with 0 issues

I must say that I have since then sold the AP and just tune via the Tantrix cable using Cobb's Accesstuner Race software. Works pretty well, but have to lug my laptop around with me when I need to make changes to the tune

Wow... Sounds like your car can pull! Well worth the money... Yeah thats one disadvantage with those type of tunes. Carrying your laptop around.

Where is this shop located?

Looks like done a good a job. Im in the process of looking for a shop as i have all my parts ordered. Just not sure of the cobb ap because of the money not giving enough.

Thats why i rather spend the 600$ and get a tune specifically made for my car. And produce the most

What are you pulling now? 50+ more?

I tuned the car pretty much back to stock since I commute 6 days a week from Modesto to the Bay Area which was killing me.

When it was tuned at 22psi, I got a 3rd pull reading of 298.5HP with 390tg, however I don't trust the dynameter off of the Accessport. It sure did feel powerful on they ol butt dyno though! Lmao

Anything that uses an accelerometer to determine power out put is automatically wrong. The results won't even be close.
