Yeah, my original plan was to run an 18G with E85, BUT, long story short, I didn't want to wait any more time for the 18G to become available, so I went with the EVOIII-16G. And I didn't go E85, BUT, with the larger injectors, I have plenty of headroom for upgrades in the future! =]

If you have no gaskets from header to downpipe, I'm pretty sure thats gonna be a permanent leak.

There are gaskets on the headers, but they are those crappy "5-layered" gaskets. I would rather have used the OEM gaskets though, but we'll see =]

I think stock ones are just multi-layer steel as well.

I'm not sure about that. All my other gaskets on the car were made of a paper material. It was like hard and stiff cardboard or something. I don't know what the material is called. To be honest, I'd be more comfortable with that than the 5-layered steel gaskets..ha

And if your header connects to your downpipe, you may have trouble making boost.

Those are some very nice numbers indeed. Im going for the same setup except Ill only have 1000cc injectors and the whole gs pnp/ceramic coated setup (mani/tgv/headers/upipe/phenolic spacers) w/ a cutout. Im hoping for 300hp on 91. My tunes also gonna be at EQTuning

Why didnt you go with the HTA68 if you were planning on running E85? Ive heard that turbo is a beast on it..

Im also wondering why you're only tuned at 15psi? I thought we could get a conservative tune on the evo3 16g and run it at 20psi on 91 octane.

Haha, I had to read that 3x to make sure I got that right...lol

Oh, and I found another problem just now. My cluster gauges don't illuminate now. Headlights are all turned on but gauges will not illuminate.

Maybe it has to do with that yellow/black wire I cut that was running from my stock boost gauge...maybe I should re-attach that to see if it works...lol??

Yeah, Ed and the other guys said they were surprised my 2.0L made that much power. They said not bad for a WRX, haha. I'm proud of my girl... =]

I think you'll get close to 300 if you wanted. I'd call them up and ask for a ballpark so you can get a better idea. I didn't go E85 or a bigger turbo (would've liked the 18G) because of money issues. I don't have alot of money anymore. Literally, I have credit card debt now, so I am slowly paying that off. My ideal setup would be the 18G and running on corn juice all day, errry day. I will for sure in the future get an E85 tune and switch out to an 18G, but not anytime soon.

I wanted more of an aggressive tune, but nothing too aggressive. He asked me on a scale of 1-10, I told him about an 8 for aggressiveness. I'm really not sure if 15psi is what i'm actually running because he told me at one point that was how much I was running and after he did a couple more pulls to get me to the 282WHP mark, that's when he made some more adjustments. So the 15psi I heard was most likely before, and the 20psi I saw on my boost gauge is probably what I'm running.

Its likely not tuned at 15psi after thinking about it lol. I thought HTA68 were the same price as the evo3 16gs.. I feel you on the money situation. My disposable income has taken somewhat of a dive too which is why Im planning on getting it all together by January.

Buy a part here and there and hopefully Ill do the timing belt, seals, water pump, a major tune up and bolt on all my stuff then.

Either way very nice numbers on a car with that many leaks :P

Lol, I hope the leak is nothing serious and is easily fixable.

Thank Matt!

Imma go WOT a couple times tomorrow and look at my boost gauge to make sure my thought is correct (being at 20psi) and I'll post it up. So yeah, definitely gotta be more than 15psi
