No its helping me vent. Do I not have that right now? As I'm tired from being in LA lastnight picking up more parts. Not to mention that my back and neck are on fire since my accident it makes it hard to do this stuff myself.

I'll do that tomorow. I'll have more time to go over and talk with him. I'm trying to get into a postion to have the zerosports guy tune my car. I'm was poping flames out the tail pipe before the flames out the injector /turbo area.
Flames @ both ends...
One other thing I want to put out there.
Since we have had almost 2k views on this thread, If you dont have one already, please go out and buy a fire extinguisher. They are cheap and worth every dime.

This has been happening like this for years now. Just like this thread, it doesn't help anything really.

I never said "your bad experiences cannot have happened because of my good experiences." But like others has stated, posting this is not the way to go....and yes I have learned that very lesson... as some may know!!

BUT... I have been saying that THEY ( the 2 parties ) need to resolve this issue...we all should realy stop posting...re-read my posts.

back and forth, back and forth.

I actually like these threads because they keep us informed of what's happening with different shops.

true, but when people keep posting the same stuff over and over it just gets eveyone worked up and nothing gets done. It doesnt really matter what we keep adding.

even if threads like this were locked and no one could add a post or bump it to the top...you could still do a search and find it if you wanted info on a shop.

and it's not like this thread will close them down...every shop on here has had 1 neg. remark at one time or another....they didnt close up shop after that. lol

Everyone makes mistakes whether it's GST or LIC, no one is perfect. I will continue to support GST. They are the only shop that has touched my car and the only shop I will let and I have never had any problems. Thinking about it, this is the only negative post I have seen about GST. All I usually hear is good stuff. I know Mike is a reputable person and will take care of whatever is wrong. GST + 1!!

thats true, the threads themselves are not helpful, but the initial posts are. I wonder if everything from the initial post could be fit in the user review section, since there is an "official vendor" category

In my dealings with Mike, he's gone the distance to make sure things are made right when things unexpectedly go wrong. Remember Thanksgiving Eve Mike? Remember Mr. Dezur, who had to rent a convertible to drive back to the snow? He still laughs about that nowadays...even after he sold the Forester.

Mike was there working overtime, contacting me when we were closed in order to work to make things right again. Although it wasn't directly the fault of the shop (thanks, ECUTek), Mike overnighted a new ECU, had someone come clear across the Bay to pick it up, and had that Forester XT tuned with precision and to the exact expectations of the customer...only he far exceeded the expectations of the customer.

I'm not one to take sides, as I can see both sides of this equation. I think one more chance should be given, and the burden placed squarely on Mike...

...because I'm rather certain that if he personally gets involved and oversees everything, at this point...

...it will turn out to either meet or exceed the expectations of 06STi.

GST will always do their best. In the event something goes wrong, the do their best to fix it.

Dude I think you're talking about FLI... HAHAHAHAHAHAH

We were already at that point. Then the fire!
Mike was the last one to touch my car. This is after it went to I think everyone else in the shop the 4 times before.

As you can all see I have covered many differant directions before this was bought out in the light.

Its not my favorite thing to do. I have covered and been more understanding then alot you guys know or think.

My car will be finished late tonight. It drives and runs now. But I lost alot of my personal time and money.

It will then get retuned ASAP..

i know, this thread has all the right to be up...

if i owned GST i could give a F about this thread as far as business, i mean there are 100 +1's for GST for every -1, so its good to hear about these problems so stop giving 06STi crap about whining or asking for it.

As a "tech"you should know better than to drive a vehicle with any sort of problem. Once you take that car from a shop knowing the work is incomplete, thats on you. You should know this if you are a "tech". Seeing crazy gauge readings and you still drive it home? Techs don't do that. Hacks that know how to turn wrenches do. This just sounds like you are an "all knowing instructor" at some tech school with a bad attitude. Sh*t does happen and bum work is unacceptable. But you should know better, as an "instructor", driving a vehicle with these problems. The correct answer to parts not installed right is "Neat I'll be taking the keys to your shop vehicle and/or you're taking me to work". "Not I guess I'll fix this myself because I teach at Wyotech." Did i guess right?

As for tech schools. The people I have worked with from these schools I wouldn't let oil the chain on my bicycle. Sure I don't have a SMOG license but I'm not a hack thinking I'm top dog cause I went to a crappy south bay tech school. These kids have zero real world experience. Your students need to be reminded of this.

Mike is taking responsibility for what happened as he should as a mature adult. You are being immature by bringing this into a public forum to flame GST and to be flamed by me. Your "modding"powers do not scare me "Tech School Instructor".

If anything you both share responsibility in this.
