Got my 2003 WRX wagon tuned by Travis at Snail Performance. From the tune and mild upgrades, we got a peak 308 whp and 320 wtq (+12 whp and +26 wtq from the previous tune plus K&N intake, Grimmspeed ported exhaust manifold and crosspipe) on my VF-powered EQ-built hybrid bugeye. Travis was able to diagnose, subsequently correct, a timing/spark plug issue. Quick fix by the guys at FW and now the car feels awesome. It comes alive and pulls hard through the entire powerband.

LOL yeeaah. Backing into my own car before the car even got on the rollers :doh: should have been taken as omen to let Nicole drive.

But we made it.. in one piece.. car and passengers unscathed.

Plugs and a right proper tune can work wonders.
I just wish I could've yelled louder/faster as you were backing up. :(

Figured I would bump this thread. Got tuned by travis at snail yesterday. Car feels great. Smoothed out the powerband. Travis is a great guy who knows what he's doing. Thanks to paul and the boys at FW too for the new plugs and dyno time!

Highly recommend you guys think about snail when you want a tune!

SNAIL OR BUST. Travis Barnes is a genius. He is a very personable person who hasn't let his obvious success go to his head. Very easy to talk to and is very informative. Anything you want to know, he has answers for. He will put you on track to the build of your dreams. Big ups for Travis and Paul at FW/ Snail Performance. No one will ever touch my car.
