Big-O Tires in San Mateo

I got 4 tires mounted and balanced for a great price. I talked to Jason, and when I told him I had an STi he got all excited and asking me what mods I had. Jason drives a modded SRT-4, but seems like a great guy. Its good to see car enthusiasts working at places like this. After I got my RE-01Rs mounted I took them for a test down Page Mill Road to Palo Alto. Nice and sticky!!!

How much did you pay for the RE-01Rs?

I didn't get them through Big-O, I got them through a friend. Big-O sells them for 180 each for 225/45/17s. They did the mounting for a good price.

+1 I had them mount my RE-01R's as well. Jason is a great guy and will take care of you. Here is a similar review I posted a while back: https://www.i-club.com/forums/vendor-tuning-service-parts-review-152/1-big-o-tires-san-mateo-180333/

Whenever I buy tires I check out America's tire, Big-O and all the big chains but I always get the best price from Orlando at Auto Innovations in minnis circle in Milpitas.

Auto Innovations always beats Jason at BigO and Armondo at America's tire for price and he is just a small store with a ton of subaru customers who trust him for Rubber and alignment.

For my last 3 sets of tires I have made the 45 mile drive to Milpitas because of the level of Subaru knowledge the Auto Innovations team has.

I bought my RE01R's on tire rack because Jason couldn't match the price. The tires were shipped to BigO and they mounted and balanced them for a good price. AI is also a great shop!

Thanks

Jason asked if I had heard of you. I told him, "Oh ya... Ed... the guy that plays with car computers."
