i'm basically looking to move outta california and to NY. from what i have really seen it seems brooklyn is fairly affordable. i'm trying to get an idea of the different communities within the city and where to move to.

 

You might want to also consider your commute to/from work or school. If you have a car that you value a bit, make sure you have a place to park it, away from everyone else. BK or majority of the city's street parking are not that friendly. Aside from that, anything that you think you will need, some item or something that you thought you can only get from one place,
