The reason for giving out avatars is to draw in more traffic from the txic community, you have three posts, two of them asking about an avatar. I'm sure alex wants members who are going to contribute to this forum, not just people looking for avatars who will never even post. Be paitient grasshopper, I'm sure Alex will hook you guys up in time.

Besides, this place is all jumbled up with for sale junk and sightings posts, too much to wade through for any good content.
