I live in Flower Mound and just bought (2 weeks ago) an '04 WRX 5sp. I wouldn't mind checking up with y'all to see what mods maybe you've done... and if someone in the area needs a hand with an install or repair, I wouldn't mind helping out. I'm not a serious mechanic, but eager to learn more...
But, I discovered my tranny is leaking oil in my brand new freakin' car so I'm kind of bummed out right now. The trip in for service this morning made me feel pretty sick, and I felt like strangling someone for the rest of the day...
I'm trying to think positive about it though...
Anyway, I hope to see you guys around.

I've had my '02 since August of '02 and the only two things it's been in far is a new clutch @ 21K and two fix the oil filter coming off at 22K. The oil change place didn't get the filter on tight enough and it backed off dumping almost 3 quarts of sythetic onto everything. There are several other members in the area, so maybe we should work on a Lewisville mini-meet.

Well I'm in arlington. Thats kinda close to lewisville. I've got a VF30, STI injectors, and a JDM uppipe on the way. I already have a friend who is gonna help me(He actually KNOWS what he's doing unlike me) install all of it. However, Even though I'm not the best with a wrench I still like to check stuff out. Especially when it involves sweet Scooby's and Cold beer!!!!:banana:

Don't know if I'll make it out there tonight. If I go, I'll either be in my blue WRX sedan with 17" Subzeros, or my roommates black Bullitt Mustang. I'll be at Sanger Friday night. You get more runs for less money there, plus it's alot closer. What kind of times are you running in your WRX?
DMA, were you there this week? I saw a silver '04, but didn't see anyone around it. I'll be racing at Sanger tonight around 10:30 if want to check out the track and car. A map to the track is at http://www.dentondragway.com. After 10:30, it's $10 to race or watch. It's $15 to race if you get there before 10:30. If you go, I'll be the blue '02 sedan with steel grey Rota Subzeros.
Got back from a great night at the track. Out of 5 runs, 4 were better than my previous personal best (8.830 @ 77.30). Here are the times from my best run. I finally got brave enough to get a 1.8xx 60' time.
