1) You find an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of construction paper in your yard the morning after Halloween that says FOB in large letters, and "fresh off the boat" .....like I didn't know wtf that meant.

I will personally castrate the mf'er who did that if/when I find out who they are. How's that for tolerance!!!

When I was in DC about 5 years ago me and my wife were holding hands and walking downtown. We had a short little Japanese man pass us that started cursing about our interracial relationship. My wife broke away from my hand confronted the man by cursing back in Japanese. I could understand what was happening through body language and tossed that little bastard straight on his *** about 7ft. He landed in a deep, ice cold puddle and walked away still cursing. It really bothered my wife (then gf) for a good two months almost to the point of tears. She always asked how people could be so ignorant and blind.

Made me really nervous about meeting her family in Japan years later, especially her elderly great grandmother who’s still alive to this day and her granfather that served as a foot soldier. I was afraid that she wouldn’t accept me as a GI because she was in her 40’s during WWII and that he wouldn't because he was in the trenches. If they can welcome me like their own grandson within minutes of meeting me then why can’t the rest of the world accept it?

Yeah, people are ignorant. A Chinese girl at work was telling me how her Mom ranted and raved about how interracial kids are inferior.. turns out her sister had married a white guy. I guess she didn't pick that racism up, because she's now engaged to a white devil too .

Well, on a less serious yet bizarre note, I had a trick or treater who looked to be about 16 years old come by tonight (11/1 !!!). Ahahahahhaha man my neighborhood is wierd.

Sorry to hear about that man. Intolerance and bigotry sucks....

That is normal around these parts. We had some trick or treaters last year who were 18 I think. And some of the stuff some of these 13-15 year old girls were wearing. How does a parent let the kid out of the house looking like that. Some of those girls looked like hookers and I mean real deal....It was bad.

Hahaha Same thing happened when i met the other non-foot soldier grandfather in Tokyo. They invited us to Korean BBQ and he offered me a Kirin. I said sure and before we knew it we were about 5 tall Kirin's into our meal. I was still fine but he was very happy. Then we went back to the grandparent's place to talk and ended up finished a bottle of Jack.

My wife regretted to tell me he had a drinking problem the next morning.
