by the US

Granted I think these guys should be locked underneath the jail, but wow I didnt know you can get federal charges for stuff outside the US

This is getting ridiculous. Gives me the idea and a bit of a hint of NWO and globalization.

HOWEVER, this arrest is good, they should be arresting and KILLING/GASSING/INJECTING all men who rape women. ESPECIALLY pedophiles.

It's a disease in the head, and it is unfortunate, but it can't be changed, it should be instant death penalty without wait.
All three men were charged under the Protect Act, which became law in 2003 and made it easier for U.S. authorities to prosecute people for overseas sex crimes.
Considering the circumstances, I don't think the justice system is out of line regarding these arrests. Considering the crime, I'm glad that they are still within jurisdiction.

agreed these guys did some terrible crimes

but this is where it starts

The "loophole" is that traveling to a foreign country for the purpose of illicit sex is a federal offense. It's not that our jurisdiction extends to that country, it's that it we are not allowed to travel for that purpose.

*sigh* There go my necrophilia fantasies.

SwisherKing 09-08-2009 10:48 AM

Either way...those people are downright sick in the heads... hang em

I'm glad someone else recognizes this -- although I don't agree with your conclusion of capital punishment. ;)
